Chicago, IL – Two police officers, allegedly thinking they were stealing more than five grand in cash from a drug courier, were arrested earlier this week after it turned out they were being tracked in an undercover sting.

“Let this be a lesson,” said a top FBI agent. “Don’t forget who has more power: us. The second you forget that, we’ll set up a sting and send you peons to jail.” After chest-bumping another agent he shouted, “suck it, world! We’re the best!”

“Yeah! Take that, cops!” shouted a robber. “It’s about time they get what they deserve! That’ll teach em for upholding the law and keeping people like myself and my associate from dragging society back to the Dark Ages!” He then turned to his associate and added, “let’s stab this dude. It’ll be like a celebratory- hey, where’d he go?”

The US Shadow Government called the arrests “troubling”, “they’re consolidating their power. The must have found out about our plans” and “quickly! Move to phase three! Phase three!”

“There are always going to be corrupt cops,” reasoned a city dweller. “But that doesn’t mean all cops are corrupt. Right? I mean, we have to believe that they’re trying to help us. What’s the alternative, believe that we’re on our own? How is that going to stop global warming. That’s right, it’s always about global warming! Always!”
